Therapeutic Approaches

Our Therapeutic Modalities

The Hakomi Method

Hakomi is a gentle approach that uses mindfulness, meaning simple awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and body, to help you notice your reactions in real time. It helps you gently notice unconscious patterns so you can make meaningful changes without pressure or judgment. Hakomi is a great way to get out of your head and to hear what your body is telling you about your experiences and memories.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR is a form of therapy that helps your brain heal from difficult or overwhelming experiences. By using guided eye movements or tapping, EMDR helps memories feel less intense so you no longer have the same reaction to them.

Gottman Method

The Gottman Method is a practical, research-based way to help couples communicate better, work through conflicts, and strengthen their connection. It gives partners tools they can use right away to feel more supported and understood.

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT helps you better understand your emotions and what they are trying to tell you. Whether for individuals or couples, it creates a safe space to explore feelings, reduce conflict, and build stronger, more secure relationships.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

DBT teaches helpful skills for handling strong emotions, coping with stress, and improving relationships. It is supportive and structured, giving you tools you can use in everyday life when things feel overwhelming.
